So I’m very happy with the way my dyeing project turned out. I had so many girl color clothes that I wanted to reuse for baby boy, but wasn’t sure how all the pink would turn out in the end. Here are my results using Idéal brand fabric dye. A lot of the stitching stayed white, but I don’t mind. A pretty easy and cheap way to recycle some of those little clothes!
Finalement je suis très contente avec les résultats de mon projet de teinture pour les anciens vêtements petite fille transformer en petit garçon. Je n’étais pas sûr comment le coton rose allait réagir, mais au final les couleurs sont jolies et je vais pouvoir tout recycler. Voici mes résultats avec des teintures de la marque Idéal. Il y a quand même quelques coutures qui sont restaient blanche, mais pour la plupart c’est un succès!
Rusty red: 1 pack Khaki °21 + 1/2 pack Red °01 + 1/2 pack Yellow °11 (almost all the pieces were originally light pink cotton fabric)
Ocre yellow: 1/2 pack Yellow °11 + 1/2 pack Beige °32 (some turned out a bit blotchy because I forgot to wet the clothes in advance, seems to be an important step:)
Hazy Green: 1 pack Green °42 + 1/2 pack Beige °32 (on the fuschia overalls it turned a nice Purple Gray color)
Deep Blue: 1 pack Bleu Marine °20
